Free Pre-K & Kindergarten

If your child qualifies for free Pre-K or Kindergarten, eligible families can receive state-funded support at Preschool Express Learning Academy through the Texas Education Freedom Act.

While this program officially begins in Fall 2026, now is the time to prepare.

What Is TEFA?

The Texas Education Freedom Act (TEFA) allows eligible families to access state-funded educational support, enabling children to receive high-quality Pre-K services through approved early learning providers like Preschool Express Learning Academy.

  • Attendance Cutoff: 9:00 AM
  • Curriculum: Aligned with local school districts
  • Campus Placement: Based on funding and availability
